Our teachers know their students and work with them to help them realise their potential as learners. Our focus on authentic learning and authentic assessment ensures that we challenge our students to grow in their learning and achieve their personal best.

Throughout our community of Sydney Catholic schools, we have shown high performance of our students in measures such as NAPLAN and the HSC.

At St Michael’s Catholic Primary School Belfield we believe each child is unique and can reach their full potential. Together we celebrate and share our achievements in a wide variety of areas:

Visual Arts: Under the guidance of our specialist Visual Arts teacher, we had three finalists in the SCS Christmas Art Competition.

School Choir: Led by one of our talented and dedicated teachers, our school choir received a Highly Commended in the SCS Eisteddfod.

Maths Olympiad: We have a team of 20 senior students competing in Maths Olympiad, which is an international Maths competition for gifted mathematicians.

Sport: A significant number of our St Michael’s students reach representative levels in sports such as Soccer, Athletics, Swimming, Golf, Basketball, Cross Country and Rugby Union.

Weekly Achievement Awards:  Our Friday afternoon assemblies and our newsletters give our students an opportunity to share their talents with the school community and be recognised for their academic and social justice achievements.
